Looking to get a basic understanding of Canadian Labour history? Concerned about the assault on public sector jobs? Does this new government scare you? You’re not alone!

The Winnipeg Labour Council is excited to offer a one-day workshop which is open to all WLC affiliates and members of the community with pre-registration. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Canadian Labour History followed by a presentation on understanding the assault on jobs in the public sector and how we can fight back.

There will be a meet & greet with coffee included at 9:30 am before the workshop begins.

Julie Guard – Professor of Labour Studies (U of M)

Lynne Fernandez – Research Associate & Project Coordinator at the Ccpa Manitoba

Cost (includes lunch):

FREE for affiliates

$15 for Community activists and non-affiliates
