Building upon the growth and successes of our Annual Conferences over the past nine years, we are pleased to announce a Special 10th Anniversary edition of the Strangers in New Homelands Conference. Hosted in the 150th Year Anniversary of Canada, this special Anniversary Conference’s main theme seeks to examine critical issues around immigration and refugee policies around the world: human rights and the rise in xenophobia, Islamophobia and intolerance towards ethnic minorities in host societies.

If you are interested in presenting a paper, workshop, panel discussion or poster presentation at this conference, please submit:
1. an abstract of no more than 250 words describing your paper, workshop or panel proposal.
2. a biographic description of yourself and any co-authors (no more than 10 lines) in Word format to:
