Day 2 (June 2, 2022): Conversations and multiple options for evening activities

Option 1 – Youth Programming (8am – 1pm) at the Radisson Hotel Downtown

Option 2 – The LGBT Purge Fund- (8am – 1pm) at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights

THEME 1:  Advancing Queer Human Rights Struggles – cutting-edge human rights topics today

THEME 2:  Crossing Queer Generations – creating intergenerational dialogue and learning

THEME 3:  Creating Queer Coalitions – building stronger coalitions within and between social justice movements

THEME 4:  Building International Queer Solidarity – supporting global partnerships and dialogue

THEME 5:  Living Our Best Queer Lives – enhancing community wellness and health

Identified Priority Populations​

The Conference Advisory Committee and Pride Winnipeg have selected the following priority communities. We strongly encourage the Conversation applicants to bear in mind these key populations in the submission of their proposed workshops/panels/activities:

  • Indigenous and Two-Spirit Peoples and Communities
  • Trans and Non-Binary People and Communities
  • Queer People of Colour, which includes Black Communities, Migrants & Refugees

  • Children, Youth & Elders
