A Brown Bag Lecture with Dr. Jonathan Black-Branch, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba

Dr. Black-Branch will share his perspective on the issues of Non-Proliferation, Disarmament and the Right to Nuclear Energy, highlighting the pertinent aspects of the three pillars of the 1968 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty –non-proliferation of nuclear weaponry, peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and nuclear disarmament.

On October 12-13, the Faculty of Law will co-host a workshop that will further consider the human dimensions of the use of nuclear energy both in peacetime and times of armed conflict. Join them for this preview of the topics and issues that will be presented and considered at the workshop.
