A Brown Bag Lecture with Mr. Mel Duncan, Co-Founder and past Executive Director of Nonviolent Peace Force

In 2016, Mel Duncan was one of eighty peace leaders invited to the Vatican to discuss and evaluate the Just War Doctrine. Mr. Duncan will share his experiences and discuss the work and vision of the Nonviolent Peaceforce. As an unarmed, paid civilian protection force, Nonviolent Peaceforce fosters dialogue among parties in conflict and provides a protective presence for threatened civilians. “We envision a worldwide culture of peace in which conflicts within and between communities and countries are managed through nonviolent means.”

This lecture produced in association with Peace Days, a collaboration with Rotary International D5550 World Peace Partners.
