The Criminal Law Group invites you to please join them for a special talk by Greg Gilhooly, author, lawyer and survivor who will be visiting Robson Hall on Tuesday, March 13 at 12 PM in Moot Courtroom B to speak about criminal justice reform for victims of sexual assault.

Greg Gilhooly is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Toronto Law School. He has been a successful corporate lawyer, a senior business executive, a public speaker and a writer. But Gilhooly is also a victim and survivor of sexual abuse by one of Canada’s most notorious child sexual abusers: his mentor, charismatic hockey coach Graham James. Gilhooly has testified before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and the Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs on matters relating to criminal justice reform. He will present his perspective in this talk, with a specific focus on the place of victims of sexual assault in our legal system.

Greg Gilhooly’s book “I am Nobody: Confronting the sexually abusive coach who stole my life,” is available from Greystone Books.
