Launch of the University of Manitoba – School of Agriculture’s Indigenous Voices Video Series

The School of Agriculture at the University of Manitoba is proud to present the first of three videos in a series that highlight and celebrate the accomplishments of our Indigenous alumni and First Nations communities.
We will be screening “Indigenous Voices – Sharing our Agricultural History and Journey”, a vivid and inspiring 24-minute film which features Ardell Cochrane, Robert Maytwayashing and EJ Fontaine, three Diploma in Agriculture alumni from different communities who share their path to the University of Manitoba and beyond.
The video series has been made possible with funding from the University of Manitoba Indigenous Initiatives Fund.
Program:
3:00 pm – Welcome and video screening
3:30 pm – Discussion with video participants EJ Fontaine, Ardell Cochrane and Robert Maytwayashing, and video producer Erica Daniels (Kejic Productions)
3:50 pm – Refreshments
