Poverty Reduction Plan for Winnipeg – Charleswood Meeting

How can the City of Winnipeg reduce poverty? Help us tell the Mayor and Council what matters when it comes to poverty reduction. Make Poverty History is hosting four community meetings:
Downtown: March 21, 6-8pm; Millennium Library
North End: March 23, 6-8pm; Murdo Scribe Centre
Charleswood: April 4, 6-8pm; Charleswood Library
South End: April 6, 6-8pm; Pembina Trails Library

Your input will inform the development of a community led poverty reduction plan for Winnipeg guided by Make Poverty History Manitoba, a broad coalition of groups working to end poverty in our province.

The event is free and there will be light snacks and refreshments. Contact us if you need childminding, bus tickets, or other accommodation
