Reading Art in Safe Spaces workshop

In artwork, the imagination and truths can be fostered when participants are given safe spaces in which to explore their spirit, emotion, physical and mental aspects utilizing an Indigenous pedagogy. Participants will be given an opportunity to examine the meaning of the historical and cultural contexts behind two- and three-dimensional Indigenous artwork through the lenses of Indigenous ways of knowing mobilizing the process of decolonization search of truths and cultural restoration in art.
