7:30 PM Reception & Storytelling Sessions

8:30 PM Panel Discussion

Former refugees from Ghana, Syria, Sierra Leone, Kuwait, Burundi, Eritrea, and Afghanistan will share stories of courage and survival.  Learn about the mistreatment of asylum seekers in the United States and hear firsthand accounts of perilous journeys to find safety in Canada. Participants will be able take action to protect refugees at this event.
