By

Sarah Hourie, Masters’ student, UM

Sarah Hourie is a Métis woman from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is working to complete her second year in the Master of Arts Program in Indigenous Studies at the University of Manitoba. Her research locates Indigenous theory, western critical theory, as well as feminist and gender theory to examine the racialized and gendered patterns found within policies at colonial institutions.
