Economics of Gender (ECON 2362)

This course will use both neo-classical and feminist economic theory to explore how gender differences may lead to different economic outcomes for men and women, both within families and in the marketplace. Topics covered may include gender aspects of production (both inside and outside the household), leisure, marriage and divorce, fertility, childcare, education, migration, aging and development.
