Karen was a fierce human rights advocate, a professor of law at Robson Hall, and a lover of the arts. In 2012, alongside Helen Fallding, Karen co-founded the Centre for Human Rights Research at the University of Manitoba. The CHRR continues to be inspired by Karen’s courage, thoughtfulness, and care, and her unwavering commitment to justice. We hold all of those who loved Karen in our thoughts.
