Angela Ciceron (she/her/hers) is a Master’s student in Economics with a concentration on Economics and Society at the University of Manitoba. She completed her BA in Global Political Economy in 2023, through which she developed her research interests in political economy, gender, and labour, with a focus on the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora in Canada. Throughout her undergraduate career, Angela volunteered for various on-campus and off-campus organizations focusing on political awareness, feminism, and women’s rights issues.
