Student Researcher

Catherine Acebo (she/they) is a second year J.D. student at Robson Hall, with a B.A. (Advanced) in History and a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. She was active in Winnipeg’s non-profit arts and heritage sector, working as an Assistant Managing Editor at Contemporary Verse 2 and as a Research and Archival Assistant at the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation. Since starting law school, she’s been an active volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada. Her research interests include access to justice, 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and the built environment. In her spare time, she likes buying new journals (as if she doesn’t already have three at home) and reading poetry.
