Kelly Pugh

she/her

Kelly Pugh (she/her) is a Master of Human Rights student at the University of Manitoba. Her academic interests include intersectional feminist approaches to human rights, reproductive justice, and international humanitarian law and international human rights law. She is currently completing her practicum with the Centre for Human Rights Research, where she supports the research team on interdisciplinary research and advocacy initiatives.

Kelly holds a background in anthropology and political science, and previously worked with the Legislative Council of Manitoba, where she assisted in translating and drafting provincial legislation and regulations. She is passionate about using law, policy, storytelling, and advocacy to challenge systemic inequality and advance gender justice.
