Olivia Thomas (she/her) is a fourth-year Bachelor of Social Work student, graduating in Fall 2025. Her research interests include youth gang involvement, trauma, identity conflicts, child development, and attachment wounds and parenting. Through her work, Olivia aims to connect issues such as the opioid crisis and addiction and mental health to public policy, child welfare, public health, and the welfare state. She is also interested in the soul wounds for Caribbean, African American, and Indigenous people. Olivia is currently a Student Researcher completing her practicum with the CHRR.
