Dr. Myroslav Shkandrij is a Professor Emeritus of Slavic Studies. He researches cultural politics in Ukraine, decolonization, Russian imperialism, and Hannah Arendt’s relevance for contemporary Russia. He has published books on Ukrainian-Russian and Ukrainian-Jewish relations, nationalism, and the avant-garde of the 1920s.
