Ashley Daniels (she/her) is an Anishinaabekwe-Dakota winyan and a member of Swan Lake First Nation (Treaty One) with direct ties to Sioux Valley Dakota Nation. She is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Indigenous Studies with research focusing on Indigenous data, research, and network sovereignty that is supported by a SSHRC Canada Graduate Research Scholarship. At CHRR, Ashley is a student research assistant working on research related to the Just Waters Project and the Calling for Justice and Re-Imagining Governance Project.
